With a five year trail of hardships and members dropping out and popping back in, Chicago based emo/rock band- Knuckle Duster- releases its long awaited full length album "waiting for the next delima." the band is excited about their new release confessing "we do nothing but play songs we feel are true to ourselves and true to others, and have alot of fun doing it." Their popularity, primarily based on word of mouth, has increased due to new opportunities on the internet such as mp3.com ( you can find samples here http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/113/knuckleduster.html) they were blown away by the response admitting "The response has been greater than we could have imagined." The quartet finds its roots in such bands as sunny day real estate, jaw breaker, and AC/DC. These college friends find themselves on tours here and there but admit they mostly rock Chicago headlining many shows and playing the Fireside and the Metro (Chicago suburbs' connection to local music) on many occasions. One can immediately hear their experience while at a show, as they rock tight sets that reveal their 10 years experience individually and their 5 years of meshing together to form a sound that is all their own. jon flood -drums, rusty layton-guitar, vocals, mike wyatt- bass, john deleon-guitar see knuckle duster on the web: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Stage/7237/ see knuckle duster live Friday/August 11th/9:30pm/$5 @The Lyons Den/21 and over 1934 W.
